OUR CENTER

Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation - Newton and Wellesley Alzheimer's (Wellesley, Massachusetts) offers short-term rehabilitative as well as long-term care - a full range of medical, nursing, rehabilitation and social services to treat and support each of our patients and residents.

We provide safe, compassionate care in an environment that fosters independence and dignity. Our center offers four units dedicated to the care of those with Alzheimer’s and other dementia diseases. Since the units are secure, our patients and residents are free to move about the units, while still allowing close observation by our staff. All therapy, activities, and care plans are modified to meet the specific needs of those with Alzheimer’s.

Our center has been honored with the American Health Care Association’s Silver – Achievement in Quality award, My InnerView’s Excellence in Action award, and we have been named on of the country’s best nursing centers by U.S. News and World Reports. For the past 10 out of 11 years, our center has earned a deficiency-free survey from the Health Department and we have received a Five-Star rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
